PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

Spring 2009 - 2011: Teaching Assistant Claremont, CA I assist Dr. Gregory Riley in teaching Basic Aspects of the Study of the New Testament. My responsibilities include: giving lectures; creating exams; grading papers; and assisting students outside of class.

Summer 2008: Research Assistant Claremont, CA Assisting Dr. Dennis MacDonald prepare his manuscript for publication. My major responsiblities are to read his drafts and present comments on how to better develop his arguments.

Fall 2006 - Spring 2007: Research Assistant Claremont, CA Helping Dr. Kathleen Greider prepare her manuscript for publication.

Summer 2005: Research Assistant Orem, UT Integrated Studies Department Research Assistant Assisted in publishing of text books, calling publishers, securing copyrights, etc. Created and implemented a multi-media presentation for new students. Helped with research for chapter of a book on John Hick and religious pluralism.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE/SEMINARS AND LECTURES

Religion 122 (Spring Semester 2010)
College level introductory religion class taught at Brigham Young University Provo. Handled all aspects of this class, from designing the syllabus and implementing a grading system to grading essays and assigning grades.

Early Morning Seminary Teacher (Fall 2008-Spring 2010)
Faith based New Testament teaching from an LDS perspective to Juniors and Seniors in High school.

Planned and presented a two hour seminar that gave a brief history of the founding of the LDS Church and also their basic beliefs.

Utah Valley State College guest lecture for Major Interpreters in Religion class
Instructed an introductory-college-level class, on the teachings of John Hick and religious pluralism.
